Kemenkominfo Official Visits Jakarta Smart City

Director General of Information Application under the Ministry of Communications and Informatics (Kemenkominfo), Semuel A visited Jakarta Smart City (JSC) at City Hall Complex yesterday. The visit was aimed to know what content is displayed in JSC.

"Big data is good, the leader can take more accurate data," he expressed, Wednesday (8/30).

He added, JSC could also be used to intensify public services. It was because the data entry is directly contacting with the public.

"From the existing data can predict and take decisions. This is what it takes. So the role of Jakarta Smart City is how to improve public services," he stated.

Through such a visit, his party got inspiration about smart city. Considering, in the ranks, there are 100 program areas to smart city. Where his party would provide assistance to the area to the smart city.

"Every area is different. Seeing the facilities in Jakarta inspire how smart city is actually developed," he closed.
